How we evaluate gear
Our review format is designed to explain who a product suits, what trade-offs to expect and how it compares with alternatives. The evaluation depends on the product category and may include comfort, build, performance, setup, software, warranty and local support.
What you will see in a review
- Whether a product was physically tested or assessed from published specifications and independent evidence.
- The setup and conditions that affect any reported result.
- Strengths, limitations and who should consider another option.
- Any commercial relationship that could affect how a link earns revenue.
